If you are driving, start from the Mount Fuji area and take Route 139 (Fujikyu Line) towards Yamanashi. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto Route 300 towards Yatsubo. Drive for about 10 minutes until you see signs for Hottarakashi Onsen. The onsen is located at 1669-18 Yatsubo, Yamanashi, 405-0036. There is parking available on-site, but it can get busy, so arrive early to secure a spot.

To reach Hottarakashi Onsen via public transportation, start at Kawaguchiko Station, which is accessible by bus or train from Tokyo. From Kawaguchiko Station, take the Fujikyu Railway bus towards Yamanakako. Get off at Yatsubo Onsen bus stop, which takes about 30 minutes. From the bus stop, it's a 15-minute walk to Hottarakashi Onsen, where you can enjoy stunning views of Mount Fuji. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may vary.
