Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from the Mount Fuji area, head towards the city of Shizuoka. Take the Tomei Expressway and exit at Shimizu IC. From Shimizu, follow National Route 52 towards Suruga Ward. Continue on this road until you reach Kunōzan Tōshōgū, located at 390 Negoya, Suruga Ward, Shizuoka. There is parking available near the shrine, but be prepared for a small fee, typically around 500 yen.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kunōzan Tōshōgū via public transportation, take a train from the Mount Fuji area to Shizuoka Station. From Shizuoka Station, transfer to the Shizuoka Railway and take the train towards Shimizu. Get off at the Shin-Shimizu Station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Bus No. 22) heading towards Kunōzan Tōshōgū. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around 300 yen. Once you disembark, it's a short walk to the shrine.
