If you are driving from Mount Fuji, take the Tomei Expressway (E1) towards Shizuoka. Exit at Shimizu Interchange. Follow the signs to National Route 52, and then take Route 149 towards Kunozan. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the parking area near Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around ¥500.

From Mount Fuji, take a train from Fujikyu Highland Station to Shizuoka Station (approximately 1 hour). Transfer to the Shizuoka Railway (Shizuoka City Tram) and take the tram towards Shimizu. Get off at Kunozan Tokai Station. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk uphill to reach Kunozan Toshogu Shrine. Be prepared for some steep paths!
