Getting There

Walking
Starting from Nagoya Station, exit the station through the 'Sakuradori Exit'. Once outside, head towards the Nagoya City Hall area. Walk straight for about 10 minutes along Sakuradori Street until you reach the intersection with Hirokoji Street. Turn right onto Hirokoji Street and continue walking for another 5 minutes until you see Nagoya Castle on your left. Kinshachi Yokocho is located just outside Nagoya Castle, directly next to the castle grounds.

Subway
From Nagoya Station, take the Higashiyama Line (Yellow Line) towards Fujigaoka. Get off at Sakae Station (2 stops). At Sakae Station, transfer to the Meijo Line (Purple Line) towards Kanayama. Get off at Shiyakusho Station (1 stop). From Shiyakusho Station, exit towards Nagoya Castle and walk for about 10 minutes. Kinshachi Yokocho will be located near the castle entrance.

From Nagoya Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for buses bound for Nagoya Castle. You can take the Me~guru sightseeing bus (cost: 200 yen). It will drop you off near Nagoya Castle. From the bus stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Kinshachi Yokocho, which is located right next to the castle.
