Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Nara Park, head east towards the Naramachi area. Exit the park at the East Gate and walk along Sanjo Street (Sanjo-dori) towards the city center. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Noborioji Street (Noborioji-dori). Turn left onto Noborioji Street, and after about 5 minutes, Kofuku-ji Gojunoto will be on your right at 48 Noboriojicho.

  • Public Transport

    From JR Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line and get off at Kintetsu Nara Station. After exiting the station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes towards the main street. When you reach Sanjo Street (Sanjo-dori), turn left and continue walking straight for another 5 minutes until you reach Noborioji Street. Turn right on Noborioji Street, and Kofuku-ji Gojunoto will be on your right at 48 Noboriojicho.
