Once you arrive at Kintetsu Nara Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road (Sanjo-dori). Turn right and walk down Sanjo-dori for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Heijō-ji Street. Turn left onto Heijō-ji Street, and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you arrive at Heijō Palace Site Historical National Park, located at 3 Chome-5-1 Nijoojiminami.

    From Kyoto, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to Nara Station. This journey takes approximately 45 minutes. After arriving at Nara Station, head southeast towards the main road. Walk to the intersection with Sanjo-dori, then turn left and continue walking for about 15 minutes. At the intersection with Heijō-ji Street, turn right and continue for another 10 minutes to reach Heijō Palace Site Historical National Park.

    If you are driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway (Route 16) towards Nara. Follow the signs for Route 24, which will lead you directly to Nara City. Once in Nara, follow the signs to Heijō Palace Site Historical National Park located at 3 Chome-5-1 Nijoojiminami. There is parking available near the entrance of the park.
