If you are driving to Rin’nōji Taiyū-in, start from the center of Nikko. Use Route 119 (Nikko Kaido) and head towards Sannai. Continue on Route 119 until you see signs for Rin’nōji Taiyū-in. There is a parking lot available nearby, but please be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen. The mausoleum is located at 2300 Sannai, Nikko, Tochigi 321-1431, and parking is usually available within a short walking distance.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, take a bus from the Nikko Station. Board the bus that goes towards 'Taiyū-in' or 'Rinnoji'—these buses run frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait long. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Taiyū-in' stop, which is directly in front of the mausoleum. Note that a one-way bus fare is around 300 yen. Once you arrive, the entrance to Rin’nōji Taiyū-in is just a short walk from the bus stop.
