Car
If you are driving from the center of Omi, head west on Route 4 towards Nagano. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach Azumino. Once in Azumino, follow the signs for Hotakamaki. Turn left onto Hotakamaki Road, and continue until you see the signs for Manganji Temple. The temple is located at 1812 Hotakamaki, which should be easy to spot. Parking is available near the temple, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation
From Omi Station, take the JR Shinonoi Line towards Matsumoto. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at Hotaka Station. From Hotaka Station, you can take a local bus (the Azumino Line) towards Hotakamaki. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently. Get off at the Hotakamaki bus stop, which is just a short walk from Manganji Temple. The temple address is 1812 Hotakamaki, Azumino, Nagano 399-8305. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, which typically costs around 200-300 yen.
