For those using public transportation, make your way to Omi City Station. From there, take the JR Shinonoi Line heading towards Matsumoto Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes and costs approximately 700 yen. Once you arrive at Matsumoto Station, exit the station and head towards the main road. Take the East Exit, then follow the signs to Matsumoto-jō Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
