Getting There

  • Train

    From Osaka Station, take the JR Yamatoji Line (also known as the Yamatoji Rapid Service) towards Nara. Get off at Yamato-Kōriyama Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Yamato-Kōriyama Station, transfer to the Kintetsu Nara Line and take a train towards Nara. Get off at the next stop, Taishi Station. The total travel time is approximately 50 minutes.

    After arriving at Taishi Station, exit the station and head south on Taishi Street (Taishi Dori). Walk straight for about 10 minutes. Eifuku-ji Temple will be on your right at 2146 Taishi, Minamikawachi District, Osaka 583-0995. Look for the temple entrance marked with traditional signage.
