Car
From Settsu, get on the Meishin Expressway towards Kyoto. After about 30 minutes, take the exit for Kyoto Higashi IC. Continue on Route 1 towards Fushimi Ward. Follow the signs for Fushimi Inari Taisha. There is parking available at the shrine, but it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends and holidays. Expect to pay for parking.

Public Transportation (Train)
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Hankyu Takarazuka Line from Settsu to Umeda Station in Osaka. Transfer to the JR Kyoto Line and head towards Kyoto Station. At Kyoto Station, transfer to the JR Nara Line and take the train to Inari Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Fushimi Inari Taisha is a short walk from Inari Station and is well signposted.
