Getting There

Walking
From Fushimi Inari Taisha, exit the main shrine area and head towards the small road that leads away from the main torii path. Walk straight along this road for about 10-15 minutes, following the signs towards Fukakusa Yabunouchicho. You will pass by several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye on your surroundings, and when you reach the intersection, turn left onto Fukakusa Yabunouchicho. Continue straight for approximately 5 minutes, and you will see Azumamaro Shrine on your right at 36 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho. The shrine is a small but beautiful site, perfect for a quick visit.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to take public transport, from Fushimi Inari Station, take the Keihan Main Line towards Demachiyanagi. Get off at Fukakusa Station, which is just one stop away. The train fare is around 210 yen. Once you exit Fukakusa Station, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes along the main road. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Azumamaro Shrine as you approach. The shrine will be on your left at 36 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho.
