    From Settsu, head to the nearest train station, Settsu City Station. Board the JR Kansai Line towards Osaka Station. Travel for approximately 30 minutes and get off at Kyoto Station. Once at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line and take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Gojo Station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk. Exit the station and head east on Gojo Street until you reach Karasuma Street. Turn left and walk until you see the temple on your right.

    If you're driving, start from Settsu and head towards the Meishin Expressway. Follow signs for Kyoto and take the exit for Kyoto South. Merge onto Route 1 and continue towards central Kyoto.
