Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the Kyoto countryside, head towards Kyoto city. Use Route 1 (also known as the Omiya Street) and follow the signs for Shimogyo Ward. After approximately 20 minutes, you will arrive at the address: 218番地 Tawarayacho, Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, 600-8070. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the location.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    If you are using public transportation, take the JR Nara Line from any station in the Kyoto countryside towards Kyoto Station. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Subway Line. Take the subway towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Shijo Station. From Shijo Station, it is about a 10-minute walk to the gallery. Head south on Shijo Street, turn left onto Kawaramachi Street, and then turn right onto Tawarayacho.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    Alternatively, you can take a bus from the Kyoto countryside. Look for buses heading to Kyoto Station.
