    From Shinjuku Station, take the JR Yamanote Line to Sendagaya Station. The journey takes approximately 12 minutes and costs ¥170-200. From Sendagaya Station, it's a short 5-minute walk to Mayuko's Little Kitchen. Alternatively, you can take the Toei bus from Shibuya Station to Sendagaya station. The bus takes approximately 35 minutes and costs ¥210-300.

    If you are near Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk to Mayuko's Little Kitchen. Head east along the main street (Route 20), then turn right onto a smaller street after passing the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building. Continue straight, and you'll find the address on your left.

  • Taxi

    From Shibuya Station, a taxi ride to Mayuko's Little Kitchen will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The estimated fare is ¥1,500 - ¥2,000. Be sure to have the address written down in Japanese to show the driver.

Unlike studio-type cooking classes, Mayuko welcomes you into her private kitchen, creating a warm and personal atmosphere where you can learn the basics of Japanese food, seasonings, and table customs. Mayuko, who transitioned from a career as a cosmetics manager, shares her passion for cooking and provides an intimate glimpse into Japanese culinary traditions. In her classes, you'll learn simple recipes and techniques that you can easily replicate at home, allowing you to recreate the flavors of Japan long after your trip is over. Mayuko's Little Kitchen provides insight into the Japanese kitchen and is a great introduction to Japanese cooking. The classes are small, typically accommodating 1 to 6 students, which allows for personal attention and a chance to connect with Mayuko and other participants. At the end of the class, everyone gathers around Mayuko's table to share the meal together, creating a memorable and authentic cultural experience. *Note: As of July 2025, Mayuko's Little Kitchen is temporarily closed for in-person classes due to maternity leave, with an expected reopening in April 2026. However, food tours conducted by her team are still available.
