Getting There

Walking from Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station

Exit Shinjuku Gyoenmae Station (Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line) from Exit 1. After exiting, turn left and walk along the main road until you reach the entrance of Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. The entrance is about a 5-minute walk from the station. Once inside, follow the signs to Kyu-Goryo-Tei, which is located in the southeastern part of the garden. Note that there is an entrance fee of 500 yen for adults.
Walking from Shinjuku Station

From Shinjuku Station, take the East Exit and walk towards Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. This will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Head southeast towards the garden entrance. You will see the garden entrance on your left after about a 10-minute walk. Once you enter the garden, follow the signs to Kyu-Goryo-Tei. Remember the entrance fee of 500 yen for adults is required.
Bus from Shinjuku Station

From the West Exit of Shinjuku Station, look for the bus terminal. Take the bus bound for 'Shinjuku Gyoen' (新宿御苑行き). The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Shinjuku Gyoen' stop. From there, it is a short walk to the garden entrance. Once inside, follow the signs to Kyu-Goryo-Tei. Keep in mind that the bus fare is around 210 yen.
