By Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Yamanashi Prefecture and follow the signs to Route 20. Continue on Route 20 until you reach the interchange for the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道). Take the Chuo Expressway towards Tokyo. After approximately 30-40 minutes, take the exit for Ome (青梅). Follow the signs to Mitake, which will direct you to Route 29. Continue on Route 29 and then take a left onto Route 200. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the Takimoto cable car station. The parking lot is available near the station, but note that parking fees may apply.

By Train and Cable Car
For those using public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line from Yamanashi to Ome Station (青梅駅). This journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Ome Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Board the bus bound for Mitake (御岳) and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 30 minutes. The bus will take you directly to the Takimoto cable car station. If you prefer, you can also take a taxi from Ome Station to the cable car station, which will be more expensive but quicker. The taxi fare is approximately 3,000 to 4,000 yen.
