Car
From Natural Bridge State Resort Park, head northwest on KY-11 N towards the intersection with KY-15 N. Continue on KY-15 N for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with US-27 S. Take US-27 S for about 2 miles, then turn left onto KY-77 S. Follow KY-77 S for about 4 miles, then turn right onto Robbie Ridge Rd. After about 1 mile, you will arrive at the Red River Gorge Geological Area.

Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to the Red River Gorge from Natural Bridge State Resort Park. However, you can take a taxi or rideshare service from the park to Stanton, KY. From Stanton, you can arrange for local taxi services to take you to Robbie Ridge Rd. It is advisable to call ahead and confirm the availability of transportation services, as they may vary.

If you park at a nearby area, such as the Red River Gorge Visitor Center, you can walk to the geological area. From the Visitor Center, head east on the road towards Robbie Ridge Rd. After about a 30-minute walk, you will reach the entrance of the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
