If you are in the central area of Kisumu, start by heading towards the Kisumu Bus Station located on Oginga Odinga Street. From the bus station, walk towards the junction where Oginga Odinga Street meets Harambee Road. Continue straight onto Harambee Road, and after a few minutes, you will see the Kenya Wildlife Service-Kisumu Central on your right. It's a short walk of about 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kisumu. Start at the central market and head towards Oginga Odinga Street. Cycle along Oginga Odinga Street until you reach the junction with Harambee Road. Turn right onto Harambee Road and continue cycling for about 1 kilometer. You will find Kenya Wildlife Service-Kisumu Central on your right. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport (Matatu)

Find a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards the Kisumu East area. Board the matatu at the designated matatu stage near the central market. Inform the driver you are heading to Harambee Road. After a short ride, disembark at the stop closest to the Harambee Road junction. Walk towards the right on Harambee Road for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Kenya Wildlife Service-Kisumu Central. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop near Harambee Road.
