Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Mount Kenya National Park. Head southeast on the main road towards Timau. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the Timau area. Look for signs directing you to Ngare Ndare Waterfall. Upon reaching the entrance to the Ngare Ndare Forest, you may need to pay an entrance fee of approximately 200 KES per person. Once inside, follow the marked trails leading to the waterfall, which is about a 1.5 km hike from the forest entrance.
