Getting There

  • Car

    From Mount Longonot, head east on the Moi South Lake Road (B3) towards Naivasha. Continue for about 15 km until you reach the junction near Naivasha town. Turn left onto the Nakuru-Nairobi highway (A104) and travel for approximately 10 km. Look for the sign indicating Ewaso Kendong and turn right onto the access road. Follow this road for about 12 km until you reach the entrance to Mount Suswa and Caves. Please note that a small fee may be required for entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    From Mount Longonot, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Naivasha. The ride should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Naivasha bus station, look for matatus heading towards Ewaso Kendong or ask locals for directions. You may need to pay a small fare (around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings) for this second leg of the journey. The matatu will drop you off near the entrance to Mount Suswa and Caves. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the caves.
