If you are driving from Naivasha town, take the Moi South Lake Road and head towards Mount Longonot. Upon reaching the junction, follow the signs directing you to the Mount Longonot National Park entrance. The park entrance is located at coordinates -0.8907961, 36.4732334. There is a parking area available for visitors, and note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 500 KES for residents and 1,000 KES for non-residents.

To reach Mount Longonot via public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Naivasha town to Longonot village. The matatus are usually found near the Naivasha bus station. Once you arrive at Longonot village, you can either walk to the park entrance, which is approximately 4 km away, or negotiate with local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) riders for a lift to the park entrance for a fee of about 200 KES.
