Car
To reach Tsavo East National Park by car from any location within Tsavo National Park, start by following the main road, which is generally well-marked. If you are near the Tsavo West National Park boundary, head towards the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway (A109) via the Tsavo River Bridge. Once on the A109, continue heading east towards Voi. You will see signs for Tsavo East National Park. The main entrance is the Bachuma Gate, approximately 5 km from the highway. Ensure you have the entrance fee ready, which is about KES 1,000 for Kenyan citizens and KES 1,500 for non-residents.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, the first step is to get to Voi town. You can catch a matatu (shared taxi) from various locations in Tsavo National Park to Voi. The fare is generally around KES 200-300. Once in Voi, you can hire a taxi or take another matatu to the Bachuma Gate entrance of Tsavo East National Park. The fare might range from KES 500 to KES 1,000 depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure you ask the driver to drop you off directly at the park entrance.
