    If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Khammouane Province in the town of Thakhek. Head east on Route 12 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 13. Turn right onto Route 13 and continue for about 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Phaya In Cave (Tham Pha Nya Inh) and turn left onto a smaller road that leads directly to the cave. Follow this road for another 5 kilometers until you arrive at the cave entrance. Parking is usually available at the site.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, take a bus or minivan from Thakhek to the village of Xiangliab. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Thakhek. The journey will take around 1 hour and cost approximately 20,000 LAK (about $2.00). Once you arrive in Xiangliab, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Phaya In Cave.
