Public Transport

From the center of Liepāja, head to the nearest bus station, which is located at 'Liepāja, Centrālais autoosta'. You can catch a bus heading towards the beach area. Take bus number 7, which will take you close to the Northern Breakwater. Get off at the stop named 'Jūrmalas iela'. From there, walk south towards the coast. You should see the Baltic Sea ahead. Follow the walking path along the beach, and after about a 15-minute walk, you will reach the Northern Breakwater.

If you are already in the city center, you can walk to the Northern Breakwater. Start at the 'Liepāja Symphony Orchestra' building on 'Jāņa iela'. Head east on 'Jāņa iela' until you reach 'Zivju iela'. Turn left on 'Zivju iela' and continue straight until you reach the beach area. Once you hit the beach, turn right and walk along the shoreline. The Northern Breakwater will be visible in the distance after about a 30-minute walk.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in the city. Start from 'Rožu laukums' and head towards the beach using 'Uliņa iela'. Once you reach the beach, ride along the designated bike paths towards the Northern Breakwater. This route takes you along the scenic coast and should take approximately 20 minutes.
