Getting There

Walking
Start at the central square of Talsi, known as Talsi Pilsētas laukums. From the square, head east on Rīgas iela towards the main road. After about 300 meters, you will reach the intersection with Jāņa iela. Turn left onto Jāņa iela and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass a few local shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the crossroads, turn right onto Sabiles iela. Continue straight for another 1.5 kilometers, following the signs to Sabile. You will eventually see the Wine Hill of Sabile on your left-hand side just as you enter the town of Sabile.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Talsi central square. Follow the same route as walking by heading east on Rīgas iela. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Jāņa iela and cycle straight for about 1 kilometer. At the intersection, make a right turn onto Sabiles iela and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. This route is bike-friendly and offers beautiful views along the way. The Wine Hill of Sabile will be on your left as you approach the town.
