For a more challenging approach, hike from Wasserauen to Aescher via Seealpsee. This route takes approximately 2.5-3 hours and involves a steep climb. Ensure you have appropriate hiking footwear. Alternatively, you can hike from Wasserauen to Ebenalp via Bomme in about 2 hours. From Ebenalp station, follow the signs for Äscher, a 15-25 minute walk. There are no costs associated with hiking, but be prepared for a strenuous trek.
