    From the center of Slidell, start at the Slidell Amtrak Station located at 100 Front St. Head south on Front St towards Gause Blvd E. Turn left onto Gause Blvd E and walk until you reach the intersection with the I-10 overpass. Continue walking straight to the bus stop located at the intersection of Gause Blvd E and Robert Rd. Take the Greyhound or Megabus services that head towards New Orleans. Once you arrive at the main bus terminal in New Orleans, walk north on Loyola Ave towards Canal St. Continue north until you reach the French Quarter. From Canal St, walk towards Chartres St and then take a right. Continue on Chartres St and make a left onto Dutch Alley. You will find Dutch Alley at 914 Dutch Aly.

  • Public Transit

    Start at the Slidell Amtrak Station at 100 Front St. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Gause Blvd E. Take the Greyhound or Megabus to New Orleans. Once you arrive at the New Orleans bus terminal, transfer to the RTA streetcar system. Board the streetcar on the St. Charles line heading towards Canal St. Get off at the Canal St & Chartres St stop. From there, walk towards Chartres St, turn left, and continue until you reach Dutch Alley. Make a left onto Dutch Aly, and you will arrive at the destination.

    If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Slidell Amtrak Station. Head south on Front St and turn left onto Gause Blvd E. Follow Gause Blvd E until you reach the I-10 overpass. You can take the bike lane along the road. Continue until you reach the bus stop for Greyhound or Megabus. Take a bus to New Orleans. Once in New Orleans, you can use local bike paths to navigate towards the French Quarter. Ride from the bus terminal taking Chartres St to reach Dutch Alley.
