    Start at the Saco Train Station on Main Street. Head northwest on Main Street towards Beach Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross over Route 1 and continue straight on Main Street, which will turn into North Street. Follow North Street until it becomes the Old Orchard Road. Keep walking straight until you see a sign for the Eastern Trail. Follow the Eastern Trail which will guide you around the Saco River. Continue on the trail until you reach the bridge leading into Old Orchard Beach. Cross the bridge and take a right onto East Grand Avenue. Follow East Grand Avenue until you reach the end where it meets with West Grand Avenue. Turn left onto West Grand Avenue and continue until you reach Congress Square. The Portland Museum of Art will be on your left at 7 Congress Sq.

    From the center of Saco, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Take the Shuttle Bus route that heads towards Portland. The bus will take you directly to the downtown area of Portland. Once you arrive at the downtown bus terminal, exit the bus and walk north on Congress Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Congress Square. The Portland Museum of Art will be located at 7 Congress Sq, directly ahead on your right.

    If you have a bicycle, start at the Saco River. Head northwest along the riverfront bike path, following the path as it winds along the water. Continue to the intersection of Route 1 and Main Street. Cross over Route 1 and continue along the bike path that leads towards Old Orchard Beach. Follow the bike path until you reach East Grand Avenue. Turn left on East Grand Avenue and continue cycling until you reach West Grand Avenue. Turn left again and keep cycling straight into Portland. Once you reach Congress Square, park your bicycle and the Portland Museum of Art will be on your left at 7 Congress Sq.
