Car
If you are driving from Mulanje town, head northwest on the M1 road towards Blantyre. After approximately 25 km, take the right turn onto the C1 road towards Zomba. Continue for about 10 km until you reach the junction for the C47 road. Take a left onto the C47 road and follow the signs towards Livingstonia. After about 20 km, you will see signs for Manchewe Waterfalls. The parking area is located just off the main road leading to the waterfalls.

Public Transportation
From Mulanje town, you can take a minibus heading to Blantyre and ask to be dropped off at the junction for the C1 road. From there, you will need to catch another minibus going towards Livingstonia. Inform the driver you are going to Manchewe Waterfalls; they may drop you off at the nearest point to the falls. Be prepared to walk approximately 2 km from the drop-off point to reach the waterfalls. Ensure to have some cash, as the minibus fare is typically around 500 MWK (Malawian Kwacha).

Once you arrive at the parking area or the nearest drop-off point, follow the well-marked trail leading to the waterfalls. The walk is about 30 minutes and takes you through beautiful natural scenery. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and be cautious as the path can be steep and uneven in places.
