Look for buses heading toward the Labuk Bay area; these are often labeled for 'Labuk Bay' or 'Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary'. The bus ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the entrance of the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. The entrance is located off Jalan Labuk.

From Sandakan town center, you can easily book a taxi or use the Grab app for a ride to the Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary. Simply input 'Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary' into the app. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to confirm the driver knows the location, as it is off Jalan Labuk. The taxi or Grab fare will range from 30 to 50 Malaysian Ringgit.

Walking to Labuk Bay from Sandakan town is not practical due to the distance (approximately 23 km). However, if you find yourself in a nearby neighborhood, you can walk towards Jalan Labuk.
