Public Transit - Light RailLink
If you are starting from Baltimore's Penn Station, head to the Light RailLink station located right outside the station. Board the Light RailLink train heading towards 'Camden Yards' and ride for 4 stops. Get off at the 'Convention Center' stop. Exit the station and walk south on West Pratt Street toward the harbor for about 10 minutes. You will reach Pier 3, where the USCG Lightship Chesapeake is located.
Public Transit - Subway and Bus
Starting at the Charles Center Subway Station, take the Metro SubwayLink towards 'Lansdowne'. After 2 stops, transfer to the Light RailLink at the 'Camden Yards' stop. Board the Light RailLink heading towards 'Hunt Valley' and ride for 1 stop, getting off at 'Convention Center'. From there, walk south on West Pratt Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Pier 3.
Walking
If you are near the Inner Harbor area, simply walk towards the waterfront. Head towards the National Aquarium and follow the promenade along the harbor. Continue walking along the water for about 15 minutes until you reach Pier 3. The USCG Lightship Chesapeake will be visible as you approach the pier.
Public Transit - Bus
From the Baltimore Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the #1 or #11 bus towards the harbor. Get off at the 'Pratt & Light' stop. From there, walk east on East Pratt Street for about 5 minutes, then turn right onto South Calvert Street and walk another 5 minutes until you reach Pier 3, where you will find the USCG Lightship Chesapeake.
