If you are near the Baltimore Inner Harbor, start by heading northwest on E Pratt St toward S Calvert St. Continue on E Pratt St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Charles St. Turn left onto N Charles St and walk north for approximately 0.6 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with W Franklin St, turn right. Walk for two blocks until you reach Washington Pl, and then turn left. Public Transit (Light Rail)
From the Baltimore Inner Harbor, walk to the Convention Center Light RailLink station. Board a light rail train heading north toward Hunt Valley. Get off at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, walk east on W Baltimore St. for two blocks until you reach N Charles St. Turn right onto N Charles St. and walk north for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto W Franklin St, then left onto Washington Pl. The Washington Monument will be on your right at 699 Washington Pl.

Locate a nearby bus stop and take the MTA Maryland bus #11 or #34. Both buses stop at the Baltimore Arena. After you exit at the Baltimore Arena stop, walk east on W Baltimore St for two blocks to N Charles St. Turn right onto N Charles St and walk north for about 0.3 miles.
