Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near the Baltimore Inner Harbor, start by heading northwest on E Pratt St toward S Calvert St. Continue on E Pratt St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N Charles St. Turn left onto N Charles St and walk north for approximately 0.6 miles. You will pass by several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with W Franklin St, turn right. Walk for two blocks until you reach Washington Pl, and then turn left. The Washington Monument will be on your right at 699 Washington Pl.

• Public Transit (Light Rail)

  From the Baltimore Inner Harbor, walk to the Convention Center Light RailLink station. Board a light rail train heading north toward Hunt Valley. Get off at the Baltimore Arena stop. From there, walk east on W Baltimore St. for two blocks until you reach N Charles St. Turn right onto N Charles St. and walk north for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto W Franklin St, then left onto Washington Pl. The Washington Monument will be on your right at 699 Washington Pl.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  Locate a nearby bus stop and take the MTA Maryland bus #11 or #34. Both buses stop at the Baltimore Arena. After you exit at the Baltimore Arena stop, walk east on W Baltimore St for two blocks to N Charles St. Turn right onto N Charles St and walk north for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto W Franklin St, then left onto Washington Pl. The Washington Monument will be on your right at 699 Washington Pl.
