The parking lot is open 24 hours a day and is a great starting point for accessing Billy Goat Trail.

To reach Great Falls Park using public transportation, take the Metro to the Grosvenor-Strathmore station (Red Line). From there, you will need to catch the Ride On Bus #47 towards the Potomac area. Get off at the stop for Great Falls Park (MacArthur Blvd and Falls Rd). From the bus stop, you will have a short walk to the Great Falls Parking lot, which will be on your left as you approach the park entrance.
