Car
From the entrance of Seneca Creek State Park, head southwest on MD-119 S (Great Seneca Highway) towards MD-28 E. Merge onto MD-28 E and continue for about 9 miles, then merge onto I-270 S towards Washington. After approximately 15 miles, take exit 1B for I-495 S toward Richmond. Continue on I-495 S for about 4 miles and take exit 43B for US-1 N toward Washington. Follow the signs for Washington, and merge onto I-395 N. After about 2 miles, take exit 9C for US-1 N toward the National Mall. Continue onto 12th St SW, then turn left onto Independence Ave SW. Finally, turn right onto Washington Ave SW, and the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial will be on your left at 150 Washington Ave SW.

Public Transportation
From Seneca Creek State Park, take a bus from the park entrance to the Germantown Transit Center. Once at the Germantown Transit Center, board the Ride On bus number 55 towards the Silver Spring Metro Station. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Silver Spring Metro Station. Transfer to the Red Line Metro towards Glenmont and ride it to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow or Green Line Metro towards Branch Avenue or Greenbelt and get off at the L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Walk southwest on 7th St SW, then turn right onto Independence Ave SW. Continue walking to Washington Ave SW, and the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial will be on your left at 150 Washington Ave SW.
