Exit the station and walk towards the National Mall. From there, head northwest towards 5 Henry Bacon Dr NW, which will take about 15 minutes on foot. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is right near the Lincoln Memorial.

If you prefer to take the bus, head to the nearest bus stop on Colesville Rd at the Silver Spring Transit Center. You can take the Ride On bus Route 1 towards the DC line. This route will take you to the nearest bus stop in Washington, DC. Once you arrive in DC, walk towards the National Mall, and follow the signs to 5 Henry Bacon Dr NW. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a short walk from the bus stop and is located along the Reflecting Pool.

Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station and walk south on Georgia Ave until you reach the intersection with Colesville Rd. Continue walking on Colesville Rd until you reach the Washington, DC border. From there, follow the signs to the National Mall. It is a long walk, approximately 5 miles, and will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
