From your location in Waldorf, walk to the nearest bus stop on Crain Highway (US-301). Take the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Route 11 bus towards Washington, DC. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-40 minutes until you reach the 'L' Street SW & 3rd Street SW' stop. From there, walk east on L Street SW for about 5 minutes until you reach the United States Botanic Garden at 100 Maryland Ave SW.

Head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) Route 11 bus to the Branch Avenue Metro Station. Once at the station, purchase a fare card and board the Green Line train towards Greenbelt. Travel for 11 stops and get off at the 'L' Enfant Plaza Metro Station. Exit the station and walk north on 7th Street SW for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Maryland Ave SW, and you will find the United States Botanic Garden on your right.
