Continue on Route 23 for approximately 3 miles until you reach the entrance to Beartown State Forest on your left. Park in the designated parking area. The Benedict Pond Loop trailhead is accessible from the parking lot.

Take the Peter Pan Bus Lines from Boston or New York City to Great Barrington. Once you arrive at the Great Barrington bus station, you can take a local taxi service to Beartown State Forest. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and cost approximately $20. Inform the driver you want to go to Beartown State Forest, where you can find the parking area for the Benedict Pond Loop.
