Walking
If you are in the downtown area of Brockton, start at the Brockton MBTA Station located at 1 Montello St. Head northeast on Montello St towards Main St. Turn left onto Main St and continue walking until you reach the Brockton Public Library. From there, continue walking on Main St until you reach the intersection with Crescent St, then turn right onto Crescent St. Follow Crescent St until you reach the bus stop at the intersection with Warren Ave. Board the MBTA bus #4 towards Ashmont and ride for about 35 minutes. Get off at the 'Ashmont' station, then transfer to the Red Line train towards Alewife. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Park Street' station. Finally, transfer to the Green Line and head towards Government Center, and get off at 'Government Center' station. Walk up Tremont St, then turn left onto Beacon St. The Massachusetts State House will be on your right at 24 Beacon St.

From the downtown area of Brockton, walk to the Brockton MBTA Station at 1 Montello St. Take the MBTA bus #4 towards Ashmont, which runs regularly throughout the day. After approximately 35 minutes, get off at the 'Ashmont' station. There, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Alewife. Ride for about 20 minutes and disembark at 'Park Street' station. At Park Street, switch to the Green Line and take a train towards Government Center. Get off at the 'Government Center' stop, then exit the station and walk to Tremont St. Turn left onto Beacon St, and the Massachusetts State House will be on your right at 24 Beacon St.
