Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Hyannis, take Main Street (Route 28) heading south. Continue on Route 28 for about 8 miles until you reach West Dennis. You will see signs for West Dennis Light. Turn right onto Lighthouse Inn Road, and the light will be located at the end of the road. There is free parking available at the Lighthouse Inn, which is adjacent to the light.

• Public Transportation

  From Hyannis, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus Route 1 towards Dennis. The bus will make stops along Route 28. You should disembark at the West Dennis stop. From there, it is a short walk of about 0.5 miles to West Dennis Light. Follow the main road, Lighthouse Inn Road, straight to the light. • Taxi/Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route without a car, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft from nearby towns or beaches. The fare from Hyannis to West Dennis Light will typically range from $20 to $30, depending on traffic and demand.

• Biking

  For the more adventurous, biking is a scenic option. From the Cape Cod Rail Trail, head towards West Dennis. The trail will connect you to Route 28, where you can ride towards Lighthouse Inn Road.
