If you are starting from Vineyard Haven, you can rent a bicycle at one of the local shops. From Vineyard Haven, head north on State Road (Route 25) until you reach West Tisbury. At the intersection with Edgartown-West Tisbury Road, turn left and continue until you reach the town of Chilmark. As you approach Chilmark, look for Marions Way on your right. Turn onto Marions Way and follow it until you reach Island Folk Pottery, which will be located at 16 Marions Way.

From Oak Bluffs, catch the VTA (Vineyard Transit Authority) bus route 1 towards Vineyard Haven. At the Vineyard Haven stop, transfer to the VTA bus route 3 towards West Tisbury.
