From the main entrance of Mohawk Trail State Forest, head south on Route 2. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with Tannery Road in Savoy. Turn right onto Tannery Road and drive for approximately 1.5 miles. You will find a small parking area on your left, which serves as the trailhead to Tannery Falls.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus to North Adams from Boston or Springfield. Once in North Adams, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to get to the entrance of Mohawk Trail State Forest. From there, follow the car directions above to reach Tannery Falls. Please note that public transportation may require planning ahead as services are limited.

If you are already in the vicinity of Tannery Road, you can walk from the parking area along the well-marked trail that leads to Tannery Falls. The hike is approximately 0.5 miles and follows a scenic path through the forest. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be uneven in places.
