Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Nantucket, head southeast on Broad Street toward Main Street. Continue onto Surfside Road, which will lead you out of town. After about 2 miles, take a left onto Sconset Road. Follow Sconset Road until you reach the junction with Baxter Road. Turn right onto Baxter Road, and continue for about 1 mile. You will see the Sankaty Head Lighthouse on your left, located at USA, Baxter Rd, Siasconset, MA 02564.

    Starting from the Nantucket Town Center, walk east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Surfside Road. Turn left onto Surfside Road and continue for approximately 2 miles. After that, turn left onto Sconset Road. Walk down Sconset Road until you reach the intersection with Baxter Road. Turn right onto Baxter Road, and after about 1 mile, you will find the Sankaty Head Lighthouse on your left.

    Take the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) Surfside Shuttle from the Nantucket Town Center. Stay on the shuttle until you reach the Siasconset stop.
