Walking
If you are in Quincy Center, start by heading northwest on Hancock Street. Continue straight until you reach the Quincy Adams MBTA Station. Board the Red Line train towards Alewife. Stay on the train for about 15 minutes until you reach the North Station stop. Exit the train and follow the signs to the Garden Street exit. Once you are out, turn left onto Causeway Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 1st Avenue. Turn right onto 1st Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. The Charlestown Navy Yard will be on your left at the intersection of 1st Avenue and 3rd Street.

Public Transit
From Quincy Center, walk to the Quincy Center MBTA Station. Take the Red Line train towards Ashmont. After 3 stops, get off at the Downtown Crossing Station. Transfer to the Orange Line train towards North Station. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Haymarket Station. Exit the station and walk towards the waterfront. Follow the signs to the Charlestown Navy Yard, which is about a 15-minute walk from Haymarket Station.

Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Quincy. Start at the Quincy Center and head northwest towards the Neponset River Greenway. Follow the trail north until you reach the Charles River. Once you reach the river, follow the path along the river until you reach the Charlestown Navy Yard. The bike ride should take about 30 minutes.
