Walking
If you are in Ixtapa, the easiest way to reach Malecón Zihuatanejo is by walking. Start by heading south on Boulevard Ixtapa, following the signs towards Zihuatanejo. It’s approximately a 5 km walk, which should take around 1 hour. As you walk, enjoy the scenery of the coastal path. Once you reach the roundabout at the entrance of Zihuatanejo, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Palmar. Turn left onto Avenida del Palmar and follow it until it merges into Calle Adelitas. Continue on Calle Adelitas, and you will find Malecón Zihuatanejo on your right at Adelitas 34.

Look for the blue buses labeled 'Zihuatanejo' at the bus stop near the main entrance of the Ixtapa hotels (usually near Boulevard Ixtapa).
