If you're driving from Playa del Carmen, take the Carretera Federal 307 highway heading south towards Tulum. Continue for about 30 minutes until you see the signs for Akumal. Turn right onto Akumal's main road, which will lead you through the town. Follow the signs to Yal Kú, located approximately 5 minutes from the entrance of Akumal. Keep an eye out for the entrance, which should be on your right. Parking is available on-site, but might incur a small fee.

To reach Yal Kú via public transportation, take a colectivo (shared van) from Playa del Carmen towards Tulum. Ask the driver to drop you off at Akumal.
