Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in Corktown, start by heading east on West Michigan Avenue. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Grand River Avenue. Here, you will see the main road leading into downtown Detroit. Continue walking straight. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the intersection with Griswold Street. Turn right onto Griswold Street and walk a few blocks. The Guardian Building will be on your left at 500 Griswold St. Look for its striking Art Deco architecture.
