If you are driving from Lutsen Mountains, head north on MN-61. Continue on MN-61 for approximately 12 miles. Keep an eye out for the signs for Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center. The entrance will be on your right at 9096 West, MN-61, Schroeder, MN 55613. There is no entrance fee, but donations are appreciated.

For those using public transportation, you can take the local bus service that runs along the North Shore. Look for the 'North Shore Scenic Drive' bus route. Make sure to check the schedule as it may not run frequently. You will need to get off at the nearest stop to Sugarloaf Cove Nature Center and may have to walk approximately 1 mile south along MN-61 to reach the center. Be sure to confirm the bus times and routes in advance, as schedules can vary.
