Walking
From the heart of Downtown Minneapolis, head east on 7th Street South toward Nicollet Mall. Continue walking straight for about 5 blocks until you reach 2nd Avenue South. Turn left onto 2nd Avenue South and walk for about 2 blocks until you reach 11th Avenue South. Turn right onto 11th Avenue South and walk a short distance until you arrive at Gold Medal Park located at the intersection of 11th Avenue South and 2nd Street. The park entrance will be on your left.

If you are near the Nicollet Mall light rail station, take the Blue Line toward the Mall of America. Get off at the 5th Street Station (2 stops). From the station, head east on 5th Street until you reach 11th Avenue South. Turn left and walk north for 2 blocks until you reach Gold Medal Park at the intersection of 11th Avenue South and 2nd Street. Note that a one-way ticket for the light rail costs $2.00.
