Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the 'Manchester Ave & 4th St' stop. From there, walk east on Manchester Ave for about 5 minutes, then turn left onto the Manchester Gateway Trail entrance, which you will find on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in downtown Rochester. Head east towards the Zumbro River, then take the bike path along the river. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with the Gateway Trail. Continue on the trail for about 3 miles, and you will arrive at the Manchester Gateway Trail entrance. Ensure you have a map or GPS to navigate through the bike paths.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can take a leisurely stroll from downtown Rochester to the Manchester Gateway Trail. Start at the Mayo Clinic and head east on 2nd St SW. Continue straight until you reach the Zumbro River. Follow the riverside path north for about 2 miles, then cross the pedestrian bridge. After crossing, turn left and follow the trail heading toward Manchester. After approximately another mile, you will see the entrance to the Manchester Gateway Trail.
